Finally, after three-year in anticipation, I am delighted to invite you all to my 3-4-1 Charity Ball, taking place on Saturday 2nd December 2023 to mark the end of my Fundraising Project. We will be able to celebrate our collective achievements with a fabulous Charity Gala Ball that will raise awareness and funds for 3 fantastic charities.

Our supported Charities are Dementia UK, Meningitis Now and Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, Oldham, a local Charity. Over the 3 years I have also raised awareness and funds for Cancer Research UK and other local charities and these will be acknowledged on the night too!

​

 

The inspiration for my mission comes from three loves of my life who have sadly passed away. It is in remembrance of my dear Mother, my Father, and our beloved Daughter.

​

 

My mother passed away from Dementia and unfortunately, I was unable to provide all the care and support that she deserved. By supporting this fundraise project, we can ensure that no one suffering with dementia will ever be without the help and support they need and deserve.

​

 

My father died of Cancer, unfortunately, there was insufficient knowledge to treat him in the short amount of time between diagnosis and death. This fundraise will add to the research for early diagnosis as well as support the care and treatment for cancer patients at Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, our local Charity in Oldham.

​

 

Our daughter, Bhavini, died of Meningitis. Had we known more about the symptoms or understood the warning signs that were rapidly emerging that fateful night, we may have been able to save her life. Through this endeavour, I would like to be able to provide others with more knowledge to seek immediate support and support the lives of their loved ones.

​

 

For the months ahead I ask that you join me in support of this fundraiser in the run up to 2nd December 2023 and honour all of our beloved ones at the 3-4-1 Charity Ball. This would be a great opportunity for a fabulous night out. Start to save up and purchase your Glitzy Gown or Black-Tie Outfit and Charity Ball Tickets, or maybe win a free entry to the Ball by taking on my challenge!  All you need to do is to sign up for an organised activity with one of the 3 Charities, on social media, create a JustGiving page and spread the word! Share with all your contacts to build your fundraise target. Don't forget that your employers may be able to match any donations that you receive which would significantly increase the amount of money raised for these needy charities.

Once your page is closed, be sure to inform me and Dylan Mistry of your total funds raised so your efforts and funds raised can be added to the total and acknowledged at the gala night. For those of you who raise over £1000 individually, you will be granted a free entry to the ball.

​

 

I shall continue to do my part in this project, by promoting awareness and gathering funds via my website, www.MyMasala.Guru (MMG) Through Masterclasses where I show people how to cook using my spicy paste, holding Artisan market stalls, and selling the MMG Spicy Paste. I aim to raise funds for our Charities, with the help of my small fundraising team.
